Jessica Neiber promoted to lieutenant at Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office

FLEMINGTON, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson announced Wednesday the promotion of Detective Sergeant Jessica Neiber to the rank of lieutenant in the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

Robeson recognized Neiber’s more than two decades of service to the office and her leadership in overseeing complex criminal investigations.

In her remarks, Robeson noted that Neiber has managed numerous sensitive and complex cases throughout her career while consistently demonstrating professionalism and adherence to the office’s standards.

Neiber joined the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office in 2002. She entered the agency’s investigative division in 2005 as a detective trainee and later served as a detective before being promoted to detective sergeant in 2020.

Most recently, Neiber served in the office’s Special Victims Unit, where she contributed to investigative operations and personnel development.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in forensic science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Neiber is the longest-serving member of its investigative division, with more than 23 years of service.
