Lane closures scheduled in vicinity of New Hope-Lambertville toll bridge June 10–13 for inspection work

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — A series of lane closures and traffic shifts are scheduled from Tuesday, June 10, through Friday, June 13, in the vicinity of the New Hope-Lambertville (Route 202) Toll Bridge to accommodate routine inspection work.

The travel restrictions, implemented by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission and its engineering consultant, are being conducted in accordance with Federal Highway Administration and National Bridge Inspection Standards. The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 10

  • 8:30 a.m. to noon – Southbound lane closure and traffic shift on PA Route 32 below the Route 202 overpass in Solebury Township, Pa.
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Single-lane closures in both directions on NJ Route 29 below the Route 202 overpass in Delaware Township, N.J. (two of four lanes open)

Wednesday, June 11

  • 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Route 202 northbound lane closure on the toll bridge (one of two lanes open)

Thursday, June 12

  • 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Lane closures in both directions on Route 202 across the toll bridge (one of two lanes open in each direction)

Friday, June 13

  • 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Lane closures in both directions on Route 202 across the toll bridge (one of two lanes open in each direction)

Travel delays are not expected, but motorists are advised to reduce speeds and use caution when passing through the work zones.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
