Lane closures to begin July 21 on section of West Hanover Avenue in Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – Beginning Monday, July 21, lane closures will occur along West Hanover Avenue between Koch Avenue and the Morris County Public Safety Complex for expansion and improvement work on sewer, water and other utility lines.

Work is scheduled Monday through Friday next week, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. One lane will be open in each direction to accommodate eastbound and westbound traffic. All lanes will reopen at the end of each workday.

Motorists will still be able to access the Public Safety Complex and the Human Services Complex (on the Morris Township side of West Hanover Avenue), with turns permitted into and out of both parking lots.

The Morris County Roads Division and Morris County Sheriff’s Office will be on site to direct traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
