Lane restriction scheduled on Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Westbound traffic on the Easton-Phillipsburg (Route 22) Toll Bridge will be reduced to a single lane next week for scheduled inspection work, officials said.

Pennsylvania-bound traffic will be limited to one of two westbound lanes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, April 20-23.

The restriction is necessary for engineering consultants to conduct ultrasonic testing on the bridge’s pin connections, officials said.

Motorists are urged to slow down, use caution and expect potential delays while traveling through the area.

The schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies or other factors.
