Lane restrictions in place at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’ for part of Monday, Tuesday

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – The Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” between Easton and Phillipsburg is scheduled to be restricted to single lanes in each direction (two of three lanes open) 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, and Tuesday, June 4, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The commission says the travel restrictions are needed to allow for inspections of the bridge’s overhead structure.

“Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution,” the commission said.
