Lane restrictions possible at New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge through Feb. 13

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists crossing the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge should expect occasional daytime traffic delays this week as work crews perform maintenance on the bridge’s lighting systems, officials said.

From Monday, Feb. 9, through Friday, Feb. 13, flagger-controlled, alternating single-lane traffic may be in effect between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. during daytime hours. The temporary lane restrictions will allow crews to troubleshoot the bridge’s architectural and roadway-deck lighting.

Officials said motorists should be prepared to stop, follow flagger instructions and use caution when crossing the bridge while work is underway.

The scheduled traffic pattern is subject to change due to weather conditions, emergency situations or other unforeseen factors.
