Here are the product recalls New Jerseyans should know about this week:
Arsell Recalls Benadryl Liquid Elixir 100 mL Bottle Due to Risk of Child Poisoning; Violation of Federal Regulation for Child Resistant Packaging; Sold on Amazon.com
Hazard: The Benadryl contains diphenhydramine which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The packaging of the products is not child-resistant, posing a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately secure the Benadryl out of the sight and reach of children and contact Arsell for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to submit their Amazon order number and a photo demonstrating disposal of the recalled Benadryl to recall@arsellsupport.com. Only the bottle is being recalled, not the medicine itself, but both should be disposed of. All known purchasers are being contacted directly.

Segway Recalls Segway Ninebot Max G30P and Max G30LP KickScooters Due to Fall Hazard and Risk of Serious Injury
Hazard: The folding mechanism can fail and cause the handlebars or stem to fold while the scooter is in use, posing a fall hazard to consumers.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scooters and contact Segway to receive information to determine whether the folding mechanism needs adjustment and to receive a free maintenance kit. The kit includes tools and instructions for checking and tightening the folding mechanism and keeping it properly maintained.

GIKPAL Dressers Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards; Violations of Federal Regulation for Clothing Storage Units; Sold Exclusively on Walmart.com by ONME Direct
Hazard: The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate performance and labeling requirements of the STURDY Act.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not properly anchored to a wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. VC Group Recalls Wireless Portable Power Banks with Lithium-Ion Batteries Due to Fire and Burn Hazards
Hazard: The lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wireless portable power banks and contact VC Group for a free replacement power bank. To receive a replacement, consumers will be required to provide photographs of their power bank with the word “Recalled” written in permanent marker before uploading them to the firm’s website at https://velvetcaviar.com/pages/magsafe-battery-pack-recall. Consumers should dispose of the power banks in accordance with local and state regulations.

Woolite Delicates Detergent Recalled by Reckitt Due to Risk of Exposure to Bacteria; Sold Exclusively on Amazon.com
Hazard: The recalled products can contain Pseudomonas species bacteria, including Pseudomonas oleovorans, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water. People with weakened immune systems or external medical devices who are exposed to the bacteria face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment. The bacteria can enter the body through the eyes or through a break in the skin. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by the bacteria.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Woolite Delicates detergent with lot codes S24364, S24365 and S24366 and contact Reckitt for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers should write their name and “Recalled” in permanent marker on the back of the product, then take a photo with the UPC and lot code visible, and email the photo to ConsumerCare_USA@reckitt.com. Once consumers receive their refund, they should dispose of the product by closing the bottle tightly and placing it in household trash. Do not empty the product prior to disposal. Do not attempt to recycle the product bottle.

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) Recalls Ski-Doo and Lynx Snowmobiles Due to Crash Hazard
Hazard: The engine control module (ECM) lower mount support could have broken in production and left a loose part inside the engine compartment, allowing it to enter the throttle body area and lead to a stuck throttle. This poses a crash hazard and risk of serious injuries or death.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled snowmobiles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free appointment. Dealers will inspect the ECM and the throttle body area to look for any ECM lower mount support broken part. If found, dealers will remove the detached part and replace the ECM free of charge. BRP is contacting all known purchasers.

Hazard: The recalled pool vacuum cleaner has a large current adapter that can overheat, posing burn and fire hazards.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pool vacuums and contact Aiper to receive a free replacement Aiper Scuba S1 robotic pool cleaner. Aiper will provide a free return label for consumers to send the recalled product back to Aiper. Within 15 days of receiving the recalled Seagull Pro, Aiper will ship the replacement product. Aiper is contacting all known purchasers directly.
