MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Mama’s Cafe Baci has announced plans for a new event space called The Carriage House on Airport Road in Mansfield Township.
The Hackettstown restaurant announced the project in a social media post, offering a “sneak peek” at the new space taking shape across from Donaldson Farms Farm Market and Donaldson’s Greenhouse & Nursery.
The Carriage House is located in the former Mansfield Emergency Medical Services building.
The new venue will be operated by the Catering by Mama’s family and is being designed to host special events with food, cocktails and other offerings, according to Mama’s Cafe Baci.
Additional details about the new venue, including an opening date, capacity and booking information, have not yet been announced.
The Carriage House will expand Mama’s existing lineup of private event and catering venues in the area.
Mama’s Cafe Baci, located at 260 Mountain Ave. in Hackettstown, currently offers two private event spaces — Cafe Baci, which accommodates up to 55 guests, and the Rainbow Room, which accommodates up to 45 guests. The spaces are used for events including baby and bridal showers, communions, christenings, family gatherings and corporate events.
The company also operates The Coach Room at 144 Mountain Ave. in Hackettstown. The private event space features rustic décor recognizing Hackettstown’s history of industry and carriage production and is designed for family and corporate gatherings.
For weddings and other formal events, Catering by Mama’s also operates Bello Giorno Estate at 517 Route 46 in Belvidere. The venue is described as a boutique wedding venue resembling a Tuscan villa and is located along the Pequest River.
Mama’s said more information about The Carriage House will be announced at a later date.
