Man accused of disorderly conduct after traffic incident in Morris County

HANOVER TOWSNHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Flanders man has been accused of disorderly conduct following a traffic incident on July 7 in Hanover Township, police said Monday.

Authorities said an officer was directing traffic on Mount Pleasant Avenue when a vehicle approached. The officer attempted to explain the traffic pattern, but the driver, Matthew Vega, 25, allegedly disregarded the instructions and drove off, nearly striking the officer.

Vega was charged with disorderly conduct, and later released, according to police.
