Man arrested on warrants, faces cocaine possession charge in Sussex County

NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) — A Passaic man was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and charged with drug possession after officers allegedly found cocaine during a search incident to arrest in Newton, police said.

Nathaniel Bell, 42, of Passaic, was arrested June 6 on outstanding warrants.

According to police, officers discovered a quantity of suspected cocaine in Bell’s possession while conducting a search following his arrest.

Bell was processed at Newton Police Headquarters and later transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

In addition to the outstanding warrants, Bell was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
