Man charged for allegedly assaulting healthcare worker at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man has been charged for allegedly assaulting a healthcare worker at Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital last month, according to police.

On Aug. 28, at around 12:30 a.m., police were contacted by Saint Clare’s hospital for a report of an assault on hospital staff, officials said.

Upon arrival, officers were met by staff members who stated that an individual, who was later identified as Jordan K Ali, 28, of Morristown, was combative with hospital staff members. In addition to being combative, he allegedly spat on one of the hospital security staff while being restrained, police said.

Ali was arrested and charged with assault of a healthcare worker, police said.
