Man charged with drug possession and distribution after search warrant execution in Warren County

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — A 47-year-old Washington Borough man was arrested Oct. 23 following the execution of a search warrant that led to multiple drug possession and distribution charges, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

Police said on Saturday the arrest came after members of the Washington Township Police Department, Warren County Tactical Response Team, Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, and Blairstown Police Department executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Belvidere Avenue in Washington Borough.

The man, whose name wasn’t released, was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with several offenses related to drug possession, drug distribution, and drug paraphernalia.

Following processing, he was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center pending a court appearance.
