
Man charged with DUI after vehicle was reportedly parked, running in middle of roadway in Morris County
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A man was charged with DUI after a vehicle was reported parked and running in the middle of the roadway, with the driver appearing unconscious inside, in Denville Township, according to police.
On Dec. 15, at around 7:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle parked and running in the middle of Fox Hill Road, with the driver appearing to be unconscious inside, police said.
Upon further investigation, officers identified the driver as Favian Fernandezespinoza, 45, of Morristown. It was determined that he had allegedly consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. As a result, he was arrested for driving under the influence, police said.
Fernandezespinoza was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, and open containers in a motor vehicle. He was then released to a family member pending a court appearance, police said.
