Mount Olive police launch Positive Ticket Program to reward kids for safe, kind behavior
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — The Mount Olive Township Police Department’s Positive Ticket Program is underway for the summer, aiming to reward local kids who demonstrate safe habits and acts of kindness.
Running from June 12 through September 15, 2025, the initiative allows officers to issue free ice cream vouchers — provided by sponsors Das’ Creamery, Rita’s Italian Ice, and 7-Eleven — to children who make a positive impact on the community.
Officers will be on the lookout for youngsters who wear helmets while biking, follow safety rules, or perform good deeds. The program is designed to promote safety, kindness, and strengthen relationships between police and community youth.
