Man charged with DWI, assault by auto after crash in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man is facing a slew of charges following a motor vehicle crash Tuesday in Denville Township.

The crash happened on Jan. 2 in the area of Route 46 and Valley Road, police said.

During the investigation, the driver of one of the vehicles, who was identified as Barry G. Huber, 56, of Denville Township was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said.

Huber was charged with assault by auto, carrying an animal in a cruel or inhumane manner, driving while intoxicated, carless driving, reckless driving, improper turning, failure to yield, and failure to possess and insurance card.

He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
