Man charged with DWI following crash in Warren County

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man is facing charges including driving while intoxicated Monday following a motor vehicle crash in Hackettstown.

The minor motor vehicle crash happened on Oct. 9, at around 10:08 p.m., at the intersection of Route 517 and Route 46, police said.

Through a police investigation it was determined that a 2019 Honda, driven by Ruben A. Rosado, 41, of Hackettstown, was travelling southbound on Route 517 when he struck a 2006 Honda that was stopped at the red traffic light, police said.

While the officer was speaking to Rosado, the officer allegedly detected the odor of alcohol, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Rosado was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath test, and careless driving. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
