Man charged with terroristic threats, imitation firearm possession in Morris County incident

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 20-year-old man from Brewster, New York, has been charged with terroristic threats and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm following an incident that occurred at a residence in Washington Township, according to police.

Police said the charges were filed by the department’s Detective Bureau after investigating the incident, which involved another male. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility, pending a Superior Court detention hearing.

The name of the individual has not been released, and no further information about the incident was made available by police.
