Minor injuries reported in head-on crash with tractor-trailer on Route 46 in Warren County

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Minor injuries were reported following a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer on Route 46 in Warren County early Friday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Trooper Troy McNair.

The crash happened at 4:22 a.m. on Route 46 eastbound at milepost 12 in Knowlton Township, McNair said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle was traveling eastbound on Route 46 when a tractor-trailer was making a right turn from a parking lot onto Route 46 westbound, crossed over the solid lines, and subsequently collided head-on with the passenger vehicle, McNair said.

Minor injuries were reported, McNair said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, McNair said.
