M&M’S unveils first freeze-dried candy with new POP’d Caramel flavor

M&M’S®, part of Mars, has announced its latest innovation, M&M’S POP’d Caramel, marking the brand’s first-ever freeze-dried candy and introducing a completely new, crispy, and poppable snacking experience.

The new treat features the classic caramel flavor fans know and love, now in an unexpectedly light and crunchy texture — a first for M&M’S.

“With M&M’S POP’d Caramel, we’re giving fans a whole new way to enjoy the classic caramel flavor that has been a fan-favorite in our lineup for years,” said Martin Terwilliger, vice president of marketing for Mars Wrigley North America. “This fresh and fun new treat takes everything you love about M&M’S and gives it a light, crispy crunch, bringing the flavors and textures together in an unexpected new way.”

Following the success of last year’s SKITTLES POP’d launch, M&M’S continues to tap into a growing consumer demand for bold and novel textures in snacks. The new freeze-dried format delivers a fun, shareable twist on a familiar favorite — because, as the brand’s tagline says, “It’s More Fun Together.”

M&M’S POP’d Caramel will make its debut in a 5.5-ounce Small Stand-Up Pouch on TikTok Shop and MMS.com beginning November 3, followed by availability at M&M’S Stores on November 10. Nationwide retail rollout is scheduled for January 2026, with additional sizes launching later in the year.
