Morris County man charged with DWI after hit-and-run crash in brew pub parking lot, police say

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Flanders man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of the Long Valley Brew Pub, according to Washington Township police.

Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report that a white SUV had crossed Fairmount Road, entered the parking lot, and struck two unoccupied vehicles before fleeing toward Tewksbury Township.

Police said the suspect vehicle was later found disabled along Fairmount Road. After an investigation, officers arrested the driver, a 33-year-old Flanders resident, for driving while intoxicated. His name was not released.

The driver was processed at police headquarters and released to a family member, authorities said. Court proceedings are pending.
