
Morris County man dies days after motorcycle crash on I-80 in Pennsylvania
STROUDSBURG, Pa. (Monroe County) — A 71-year-old Morris County man died Tuesday, a week after his motorcycle was involved in a crash on Interstate 80 in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
Albert R. VanRiper III of Montville Township was pronounced dead at 12:32 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
VanRiper was operating a motorcycle that was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle at approximately 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, on Interstate 80 near mile marker 305 in Stroudsburg, according to the coroner.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center.
The Pennsylvania State Police Stroudsburg Station and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
