EAST HANOVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Officials announced that mosquito control crews will spray for adult mosquitoes in East Hanover on Saturday, Sept. 20, weather permitting.
The treatment will take place between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in the woods and surrounding property near Ridgedale Avenue at Lurker Park.
Crews will use all-terrain vehicles to apply either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient Sumithrin (EPA#1021-1687-8329), or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient Etofenprox (EPA#2724-807).
The spraying is being conducted in response to an increase in adult mosquito populations, officials said.
