Mount Olive Township resident launches Valentine’s Day donation drive for seniors at Bentley Commons at Paragon Village
MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Olive Township Resident Danielle Fico Woelki is reaching out to the community for support in celebrating Valentine’s Day with the seniors at Bentley Commons at Paragon Village.
The Township has become an official collection site for the initiative, and organizers are asking local residents to help fill a donation wagon with Valentine’s Day gifts.
The donation wagon is located in the lobby of the Police Department in the Municipal Building. All items collected will go to the seniors at Bentley Commons to help brighten their Valentine’s Day.
Danielle Fico Woelki is working alongside Jennifer Faines, the Activity Director at Bentley Commons, Andrew Tatarenko, and Jenna Murphy from Town Hall to gather donations. The goal is to collect Valentine’s Day cards, stuffed animals, chocolates, candies, treats, and other festive items to bring joy to the residents.
“If you’d like to help brighten a senior’s day, please consider donating a card, small stuffed animal, sweet treats, or any festive goodies. It’s a simple gesture that will bring so much joy,” Woelki said.
Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of the Town Hall, 204 Flanders-Drakestown Road, with the collection deadline set for February 13th. This community effort aims to make Valentine’s Day extra special for the seniors at Bentley Commons.
