
Mosquito spraying scheduled Sunday morning in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — The Morris County Mosquito Commission has scheduled mosquito control treatments for early Sunday morning in East Hanover and Rockaway due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, crews will treat wooded areas by all-terrain vehicle on June 28 between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m.
The scheduled treatment areas include Cedar Street near Camp Hope in East Hanover and White Meadow Road near White Meadow Lake Camp and Timberbrook Road near Camp Winnebago in Rockaway.
The commission said it will use either Anvil 2+2, with the active ingredient Sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, with the active ingredient Etofenprox.
