MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito spraying is scheduled for portions of Lincoln Park, Montville, Hanover and Morris Plains on Thursday night due to an increase in adult mosquito populations.
Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will conduct truck-mounted spraying between 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, and 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
The following areas are scheduled for treatment:
- Lincoln Park: Gettysburg Way, Toms Point Way, Robertson Way, Pine Brook Road, Skyline Drive, Noelle Court, Stonyridge Drive, Alpine Drive, Erin Way, Ryan Lane, Kerri Lane, Beverly Lane, Riverview Avenue, Dixon Place, Seminole Avenue, Susquehanna Avenue, Davit Court, Rosenbrook Drive, High Mountain Trail, Chapel Hill Road, Homestead Lane, Morris Avenue, Pearson Street, Two Bridges Road, Linden Avenue, Lincoln Boulevard, Hemlock Avenue, Kirschner Avenue, Sycamore Avenue, Oak Street, Riveredge Road, Aspen Lane and Valley Road.
- Montville: Hook Mountain Road, Pine Brook Road, Nicholas Street, Willard Lane, Longview Drive, Weldon Place, Beverly Drive, Hewlett Road, Pepper Road, Midvale Avenue, Peace Valley Road, Two Bridges Road, Barney Road, Redding Place, Roome Place, Spruce Lane, Roe Ri Road, Riverside Drive, Chapin Road, Rachel Terrace, Bloomfield Avenue, New Maple Avenue, Karen Road, Cindy Road, Maragaret Drive, John Street, John Street Park, Marts Lane, Tamarack Lane, Mary Avenue, William Street, Adamary Place and Prospect Place.
- Hanover: Manger Road, Cypress Drive, Hickory Place, Slope Drive, McNab Avenue, Parker Avenue, Larch Road, Sycamore Terrace, Poplar Drive, Countrywood Drive, Laurel Lane, Locust Drive, Peach Street, Forest Way, Waterview Court, Hendricks Drive, South Belair Avenue, North Belair Avenue, Spruce Street, Summit Avenue, Mountain Avenue, Cedar Run and Chestnut Road.
- Morris Plains: Kelsch Drive, Higbie Way, Signorelli Lane, Whitney Avenue, Eisenhower Place and American Road.
Officials said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains etofenprox.
