Mosquito spraying set for Friday morning in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in East Hanover Township, Long Hill Township, and Rockaway Township Friday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- East Hanover Township: Ravellos (Eagle Rock Ave) and along the Passaic River between Lincoln St, and Knollwood Dr. (reschedule from 6/24/2022).
- Long Hill Township: Northfield Rd, Main St Extension.
- Rockaway Township: Durham Road (Camp Marcella).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
