Mosquito spraying set for Friday morning in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle and a backpack to treat a section of woods in Randolph Township, Chester Borough, and Mine Hill Township on Friday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug 9, with a raindate of Saturday, Aug. 10, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Randolph Township: Pleasant Hill Road: (Patriot’s Path).
- Chester Borough: Ammerman Way, and Collis Lane.
- Mine Hill Township: Hedden Park.
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
