Mosquito spraying set for Friday morning in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Florham Park Borough, Rockaway, Pequannock Township and Lincoln Park Borough on Friday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 a.m. Friday, June 27, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Florham Park Borough: Ridgedale Avenue, Longley Lane (municipal complex), and Elm Street (Emmett Park and Volunteer’s Park)
- Rockaway: Valley Road
- Pequannock Township: Riverside Drive
- Lincoln Park Borough: Bridge Street, Dehart Street, Harmon Street, and Ryerson Road
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
