Mosquito spraying set for Monday morning in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods in Wharton Borough, Florham Park Borough, and East Hanover Township Monday morning.
The mosquito spraying will go on from 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 6, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following area is scheduled to be treated:
- Wharton Borough: Julia Drive (Pondview Estates).
- Florham Park Borough: off of Columbia Turnpike.
- East Hanover Township: Great Meadows Lane (Black Brook area).
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
