Mosquito spraying set for Monday morning in 3 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J.– The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat woods and surrounding property in Morris Plains Borough, East Hanover Township, and Rockaway Monday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Monday, August 4, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Morris Plains Borough: Jim Fear Dr (Community Park Pool)
- East Hanover Township: Cedar St (Camp Hope)
- Rockaway: Cayuga Ave (Woods at Tilcon/Woods at Water Tower)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
