Mosquito spraying set for Saturday morning in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J.– The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle to treat woods and surrounding property in Wharton Borough, Mount Arlington Borough, Rockaway and Morristown on Saturday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Saturday, August 2, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Wharton Borough: Robert St (Robert St Park)
- Mount Arlington Borough: Altenbrand Ave and Mountainview Ave (Fireman’s Field Park)
- Rockaway: Cayuga Ave (Woods at Tilcon/Woods at Water Tower)
- Morristown: Burnham Parkway (Burnham Park), James Street (Foote’s Pond area)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
