
Mosquito spraying set for Thursday in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain vehicle to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Chatham Thursday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Chatham: Tanglewood Drive (sewer treatment plant)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807
The commission will also be using a truck mounted sprayer to treat streets in Long Hill Township Thursday night.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 9 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Long Hill Township: Valley Rd, Rolling Hill Dr, Old Farm House Rd, Rainbow Dr, Aaron Dr, Leprechaun Dr, Joss Way, Poppy Pl, S. Northfield Rd, Indian Run, Heritage Rd, Deer Run, Karen Dietrich Dr, Stonehedge Rd, Knoll Ct, S. Main Ave, South Warren Ave (Long Hill DPW), Somerset St, Passaic Ave, Essex St, Morris St, Mercer St, Main Ave, Union St, Warren Ave
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807, Pesticide Applicator License Number 20262B.
