Mosquito spraying set for Tuesday night in 4 Warren County towns

WARREN COUNTY, N.J. – The Warren County Mosquito Commission announced it will conduct mosquito spraying Tuesday night, weather permitting, in parts of Phillipsburg, Belvidere, Pohatcong Township, and Greenwich Township.

Spraying is scheduled between 8 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, with an alternate date of Wednesday, August 13, the commission said.

The following areas are slated for treatment:

  • Phillipsburg: Morris Street, Stull Alley, Chambers Street, Bennett Street, Raymond Street, Shafer Ave, Joseph Street, Burwell Alley, Bullman Street, Mitchell Alley, Summit Ave, Miller Street, Hudson Street, Warren Street, Irwin Street, Firth Street, Henderson Street, Green Alley, Filmore Street, Glen Ave, Schultz Ave, Pear Alley, Dugan Alley, Front Street, Shimer Alley, Brainards Road, Reese Alley, Tyndall Ave, Washington Street, Taylor Alley, Heckman Street, Mary Street, Bowhay Ave, Davis Street, Railroad Ave, Marshall Street, and Wilson Street.
  • Belvidere: Mansfield St, 4th Street, Alley between Mansfield and Hardwick St, 6th Street, Hardwick Street, Alley between Hardwick St and Knowlton St, 5th Street, and Knowlton St.
  • Pohatcong Township: New Jersey Ave, Middlesex Street, Pennsylvania Ave, March Blvd, Sussex Street, Pershing Ave, Liggett Blvd, and Ohio Ave.
  • Greenwich Township: N Main Street, Washington St., Watertower Rd., Strunks Lane, Broad St., Greenwich St., and S. Main St.
