Mosquito spraying set for Wednesday morning in 2 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle and truck mounted sprayer to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Jefferson Township and Florham Park Borough on Wednesday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, weather permitting, with a rain date of Thursday, June 19, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Jefferson Township: Weldon Road (Camp Jefferson) Truck mounted sprayer
- Florham Park Borough: Vreeland Road
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
