Mosquito spraying set for Wednesday morning in 4 Morris County towns
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. – The Morris County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be using an All-Terrain Vehicle and truck mounted sprayer to treat a section of woods and surrounding property in Montville Township, Jefferson Township, Denville Township and Rockaway on Wednesday morning.
Spraying is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, weather permitting, the commission said.
The following areas are scheduled to be treated:
- Montville Township: Horseneck Rd (Community Park and amphitheater), Rathburn Rd
- Jefferson Township: Weldon Rd (Camp Jefferson)
- Denville Township: Lakewood Dr (Arrowhead Lake)
- Rockaway: W Lincoln Ave (Lincoln Ave Field)
The commission will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
