Mosquito treatments scheduled Saturday morning in East Hanover, Mendham Township

MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled early Saturday morning in portions of East Hanover and Mendham Township following an increase in adult mosquito populations.

Weather permitting, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control will treat wooded areas by all-terrain vehicle from 4 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

Treatments are scheduled at the following locations:

  • East Hanover: Lurker Park and Klinger Road
  • Mendham Township: Route 24 at the Mendham Fire House and Patriots Path

Crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
