SANDYSTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an SUV Saturday morning on Route 206 in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 8:40 a.m. on Route 206 south at milepost 125.7 in Sandyston Township, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
A preliminary investigation found that a Jeep SUV and a BMW motorcycle collided, causing the motorcycle driver to be ejected, Lebron said.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for further treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
