Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash with dump truck in Hunterdon County

BLOOMSBURY BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County)- A motorcyclist was airlifted to a nearby hospital after getting into a crash with a dump truck in Hunterdon County on Thursday morning, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.

The crash occurred at 11:04 a.m. at the intersection of Church Street and Lehigh Street in Bloomsbury Borough, Curry said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a motorcycle had struck a dump truck, Curry said.

The motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, Curry said.

No further information was released.
