Motorcyclist flown to hospital after Route 206 crash in Sussex County, state police say

HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash with an SUV on Route 206 North in Hampton Township Friday afternoon, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 3:59 p.m. at milepost 110.5 in Hampton Township, where a collision occurred between a Ford SUV and a Yamaha motorcycle, said State Police spokesperson Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

The identity of the motorcyclist was not released.

The operator of the motorcycle was flown to an area hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation. No additional information was available.
