Mount Olive Township acquires new senior transportation bus with $150,000 LEAP grant

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Olive Township has announced the acquisition of a new Senior Transportation Bus, reflecting its commitment to shared services and enhancing transportation options for seniors.

The purchase was made possible through a $150,000 grant from the Local Efficiency Achievement Program (LEAP), which provides funding to support the implementation of shared services.

The new bus is equipped with a handicapped-accessible automatic ramp and features spacious seating for up to twenty commuters, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all passengers.
