Mount Olive Township announces spring and summer road improvement projects

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Olive Township will begin a series of road improvement projects this spring and summer, according to Township Administrator Andrew Tatarenko.

Phase I of the project will begin on Tuesday, April 29 and continue through May 16. During this time, no on-street parking will be allowed Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents are advised to follow detours and plan accordingly. Phase II has not yet been scheduled but will be announced later this summer.

The roads scheduled for improvements during Phase I include Andrea Court, Camelot Drive, Cedar Manor Court, Dancer Drive, Kings Court, Lisa Drive, Robins Lane, and Sanford Road.

Phase II roads include Ashley Drive, Blair Drive, Brendan Drive, Briarhurst Drive, Christopher Court, Courtney Drive, David Place, Deborah Court, a portion of Drakestown Road, Patrick Court, Patriots Way, and Pleasant Hill Road.

Additional roads may be added in the fall depending on asphalt pricing and the remaining budget. Township officials expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and cooperation throughout the project.
