Mountain Creek Fall Fest returns weekends through Nov. 2 with family fun, scenic views

VERNON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — Mountain Creek Resort is celebrating the season with its third annual Fall Fest, offering family-friendly fun, scenic foliage views, and autumn-inspired activities every Saturday and Sunday through Nov. 2.

The festival, which began the weekend of Sept. 27, invites guests to enjoy the beauty of fall in the Vernon Valley with activities for all ages. For $14.99, visitors can take a scenic sky ride with panoramic views of the colorful fall landscape, or upgrade to the Adventure Package for $24.99, which includes both the sky ride and a thrilling ride on the Alpine Mountain Coaster.

Each weekend also features live music, seasonal food and beverages, giant lawn games, and family activities. Nature enthusiasts can take part in guided hikes from noon to 4 p.m., while adventure seekers can experience Zip Tours Thursday through Sunday, including Night Tours every weekend in October. Guests can also shop for pumpkins to take home and enjoy the festive atmosphere by bringing picnic blankets and lawn chairs to relax on the resort grounds.

“Fall Fest is the perfect opportunity for families and friends to enjoy the best of autumn — from breathtaking foliage to outdoor fun and local flavors,” the resort said in a statement.

Mountain Creek Resort, located just 47 miles from the George Washington Bridge, is known for its year-round outdoor recreation, including the Mountain Creek Bike Park, Waterpark, and Zip Tours.
