Assault, theft among charges filed against Warren County man after Sept. 9 incident

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A Warren County man was arrested after police responded to an incident Sept. 9 in Lopatcong Township, though authorities have not disclosed the nature of the incident.

Police said officers were called to the area of 9000 Boulevard around 9:50 a.m. Following an investigation, Kleiber Rejinaldo Bellorivero, of Phillipsburg, was charged with third-degree providing false information to law enforcement as well as simple assault, criminal mischief, and theft, all disorderly persons offenses.

Bellorivero was taken to the Warren County Correctional Facility, where he awaits his first appearance in Warren County Superior Court.

Lopatcong police said they were assisted by the New Jersey State Police and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
