New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge to see daytime lane reductions Nov. 17–21 for maintenance work

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge, commonly known as the “free bridge,” will be reduced to a single alternating travel lane next week as contractors install steel panels beneath the roadway deck.

The lane restriction will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 21, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said.

Periodic short delays are possible as crews work on the span connecting New Hope, Pennsylvania, and Lambertville, New Jersey.

Motorists are advised to slow down, follow flagger directions, and use caution while workers are present on the bridge deck.
