No injuries after tractor-trailer hits barrier, leaks fuel on I-80 in Warren County

HARDWICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 80 in Warren County Wednesday morning spilled up to 100 gallons of fuel but caused no injuries, according to the New Jersey State Police.

The crash occurred on I-80 eastbound at milepost 1.2 in Hardwick Township when a Freightliner tractor-trailer veered off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier, state police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

The impact caused an estimated 50 to 100 gallons of fuel to leak onto the roadway.

No injuries were reported, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.
