Norwescap to host 7th Annual Pork Roll Palooza Oct. 11 in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Norwescap, in partnership with the Phillipsburg Downtown Association, will host the 7th Annual Pork Roll Palooza on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Shappell Park in Phillipsburg.

The family-friendly festival will feature live music, games, food, and entertainment celebrating one of New Jersey’s favorite foods — pork roll. The event will also include a Family Friendly Bike Ride hosted by Tailor Fit Cycles, beginning at 10 a.m. The roughly two-mile route will start and end at Shappell Park, looping through Delaware River Park and nearby side streets. Staff from Tailor Fit Cycles will provide a helmet check and safety talk before the ride.

Live Music & Entertainment

Music lovers can enjoy a full lineup of performances, including a live mariachi band to open the festival at 11 a.m., followed by headliners The Sensational Soul Cruisers, an 11-member horn group blending old-school soul with a modern twist.

Contests & Family Fun

The festival’s Family Pig Pen, sponsored by McWane Ductile, will feature arts and crafts, games, face painting, and “pork roll pig” races. Attendees can also take part in costume contests, Quoits, and the popular “pigs-on-wheels” competition.

New This Year: Sensory-Friendly Space

Pork Roll Palooza will introduce a Sensory Area, hosted by Branching Out and Page One Resource Center, offering a calm and inclusive environment for children and young adults. The area will include quiet activities, noise-canceling headphones, and comfortable seating to ensure the festival is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
