Nothing Bundt Cakes marks grand opening with ribbon cutting in Hunterdon County

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County)Nothing Bundt Cakes celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Route 202 location in Raritan Township, drawing local officials, business leaders and residents.

The event, hosted by the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, marked the bakery’s formal introduction to the community rather than a new arrival, as the business is already operating at the site.

Hunterdon County Clerk Mary Melfi presented a resolution on behalf of the county commissioners recognizing the occasion.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a nationally recognized bakery brand known for its handcrafted Bundt cakes and community-focused approach to celebrations. Founded in 1997 by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz, the company has grown to more than 800 locations across the United States and Canada.

The Flemington-area bakery is operated by franchise owners who manage several locations throughout New Jersey and chose the Route 202 corridor in Raritan Township for its strong local economy and retail activity.

“It was a pleasure to have the Community and the Chamber down to our location to support us on the official Grand Opening of our Flemington Location. Looking forward to spreading as much joy to the community that we can,” said Steven Pavlounis, Director of Operations for Nothing Bundt Cakes GSR Group.

Guests attending the event took part in the ribbon cutting, met the bakery’s team and sampled its products. Organizers said the celebration highlights ongoing efforts to support local businesses and promote economic activity in Hunterdon County.
