Parents needed to serve on advisory board; Project Self-Sufficiency seeks input on needs, services

NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) — Community members are invited to attend an upcoming information session hosted by the Journey Family Success Center Parent Advisory Board at Project Self-Sufficiency on Tuesday, July 15 at 5:00 p.m.

The event is open to all residents interested in sharing feedback about local services, community needs, and ideas for future programming. Organizers hope to hear from a wide range of voices to help guide the development of responsive and effective support programs for the region.

Staff from the Family Success Center will also highlight available resources and discuss how input from the session can help shape future events and services. Dinner and childcare will be provided for in-person attendees. The meeting will also be available virtually via Zoom.

“Input from the community is crucial to the success of the Family Success Center,” said Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency. “This is an opportunity for anyone to share their perspective, express concerns, and help us build stronger programs for everyone in Sussex County.”

The in-person session will be held at Project Self-Sufficiency, 127 Mill Street in Newton. Advance registration is required for those attending in person. For Zoom access or to register, call 973-940-3500.
