Passenger injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-80 in Morris County

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A passenger suffered minor injuries Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 west in Morris County, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the scene at 5:41 a.m. near milepost 44 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

A preliminary investigation determined that the collision involved a Toyota SUV, a Chevrolet passenger vehicle, and a Nissan SUV. The passenger of the Nissan was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

There were no other reported injuries at the scene, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
