Pedestrian struck and killed outside St. Clare’s Denville Hospital, prosecutor’s office says

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday evening outside St. Clare’s Denville Hospital, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities said the incident occurred at about 5:55 p.m. on Pocono Road, where a pedestrian was reported to have been hit by a vehicle. The victim was taken to St. Clare’s Denville Hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene, officials said.

The prosecutor’s office said the crash remains under active investigation and no additional information is currently available.
