Phillipsburg police investigating multiple car thefts

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – The Phillipsburg Police Department is investigating three stolen motor vehicles from the Phillipsburg area over the past week.

In all three incidents, the vehicles were unlocked, and the keys were left inside, police said.

“We are diligently following all leads to apprehend the suspects responsible,” police said.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

Police are reminding residents to lock your doors, remove any and all valuables from your vehicle, try to park in a well-lit, populated area and always remove your keys.

“While not all crime is preventable, we know that criminals typically choose the path of least resistance,” police said.
